Bursaries 

Each year, thanks to the generosity and commitment of our members, up to 15 bursary places for the Chartered Institute of Fundraising Scottish Fundraising Conference help support  the development of fundraisers for the future by assisting those fundraisers who are unable to fund a conference ticket of their own. 


Essential Criteria:

  • Applicant must be able to attend both days of the conference.
  • Applicant must clearly demonstrate how their attendance at the conference will assist their own learning and development.
  • Applicant must demonstrate willingness to take learning back to their organisation and apply it in practice.
  • Applicant must review the conference programme and give a clear indication on how they will use their time at the conference (e.g. applicant has identified multiple sessions that they would like to attend and explain why they are of value.)
Desirable Criteria:
  • Applicant is a practicing fundraiser based in Scotland and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.
  • Applicant works for an organisation that would not normally have the resources to allow the applicant to attend the conference.
  • Applicant would be attending the conference for the first time.
